Searchers keeping hope alive

Family and friends of missing couple Sherwin Parks and Shanice Wickham are not giving up hope as they continue to search for them.

For the second week, teams scoured several bushy areas yesterday, this time in St Thomas and St Philip, looking for any sign of the pair. And like the search in St Peter last week Sunday, there was no sign, but Wickham’s father Charlie Inniss said giving up was not an option.

“We met at the St Thomas Parish Church and a group decided to head out to St Philip while the others stayed in St Thomas,” he said.

“I went to St Philip. We searched around an old quarry in Gemswick where we picked up a smell, but the quarry was too deep. (CA)
