Hold strain, the pothole-ridden roads in St John will be fixed.

This is the message parliamentary representative Charles Griffith is sending to constituents following complaints which were highlighted in yesterday’s Weekend Nation.

He told the Saturday Sun that Government had made a commitment to repair bad roads across the country and St John residents should not feel forgotten or ignored.

“Over the last week or two roads in Cherry Grove and Henley were completed,” he said. “The road that was identified as unfinished is actually completed. The road from Todds to Woodland is done.”

Griffith, who is also Minister in the Ministry of Water Resources, added there were several roads in St John in a serious state of disrepair long before May 2018 when he was elected. (SB)
