Five more COVID cases

The island recorded five positive COVID-19 cases on Thursday from the 1 431 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

They comprise two women and three men, and represent a mixture of locals and visitors.  Additionally, eight people were discharged, bringing the number of in isolation to 435.

To date, Barbados has recorded 785 confirmed cases – 336 females and 449 males.  There were 343 recoveries and seven deaths.

The public health laboratory completed 80 488 tests. (BGIS)
