Several people appear to be injured in an accident on the ABC Highway along the Graeme Hall, Christ Church section, involving a number of motorcycles and at least one car.

Initial reports reaching Nation News indicate there were about 30 motorcycles on a ride and between five to nine seem to have crashed on the southbound lane. One car was also on the embankment and it was damaged.

Loud wailing can be heard at the scene.

There are lots of police personnel at the accident and they have cordoned off the stretch between the Graeme Hall roundabout in Christ Church and the nearby Garfield Sobers roundabout.

Motorists should seek alternative routes. (MB)
