UPDATE: Fatal accident at Balls

A bicyclist is Barbados’ first road fatality for 2021.

The unnamed person was involved in a collision with an SUV at the junction of Balls and Providence, Christ Church, on the Adams section of the ABC Highway.

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or have knowledge of this serious incident to contact Police emergency at 211, District B station at 4374311, Oistins Station at 4182612 or Crime Stoppers 18008477 (TIPS). (PR/SAT)
