The Carifta Games have been rescheduled to much later in year.

Moments ago in a virtual press conference, president of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association, Mike Sands, said the games would now be held from August 13 to 15.

The previous dates of July 2 to July 4, were clashing with Caribbean Examinations Council exams. The venue of Bermuda, the host from 2020, remains unchanged.

Recognised as the region’s premier junior athletics meets, the CARIFTA Games are traditionally held at Easter but were postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. (AGB)
