A 75-year-old man who was last seen on Saturday was found in a well at Proute Road, My Lord’s Hill, St Michael early Tuesday morning.

Police say Kelvin “Soca” Wilkinson of the same district, was found around 8:30 a.m.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, said to be very dehydrated, with some abrasions about his body.

A neighbour told Nation News the people in a nearby house heard Wilkinson’s cries and went to his rescue. They lowered a ladder down into the well, and he was able to climb out.

Wilkinson, who was last seen by his sister Edith Wilkinson around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday when he left home, was reported missing on Monday. Neighbours said Edith was with him at the hospital. (SAT)
