The Port of Bridgetown will remain closed on Tuesday.

“Despite best efforts, continued ash fall from La Soufriere volcano throughout the day has not allowed for a return to a safe environment for the delivery of cargo. Access to the Port will continue to be restricted to authorised essential personnel only,” a media statement said

Cargo will be discharged from arriving vessels. (PR)
