Three new positive cases

Three new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Monday, April 26, from the 300 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

The new cases comprise one male and two females.  There were also four recoveries, while 101 people are in isolation.

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March 2020 is 3 831 (1 867 females and 1 964 males) and there were 3 750 recoveries. COVID-19 claimed 44 lives in Barbados.

The public health laboratory conducted 152 399 tests since February last year.

There were 73 667 vaccinations administered to 30 412 men and 43 255 women under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)
