No new COVID cases

There were no new positive cases of COVID-19 recorded on Friday, April 30, from the 505 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Ten people recovered from the viral illness, while 93 are currently in isolation.

The confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 3 863 (1 874 females and 1 989 males).  To date, 3 793 people recovered from the virus.  There were 44 COVID-19 deaths.

Since February 2020, the public health laboratory has conducted 154 341 tests.

The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has administered 74 218 vaccinations to 30 686 men and 43 532 women. (BGIS)
