If the Attorney General doesn’t have a clue on how to treat crime in Barbados, he should step aside.
That is the opinion of Democratic Labour party president, Verla De Peiza, who in a statement on Saturday, queried the solutions being offered by the current administration.
Stating Barbados was yet to see any of the solutions promised in the 2018 General Election, she again asked about the appointment of former commissioner of Police Darwin Dottin in his special advisory role as well as the need for a second deputy commissioner.

What is preventing this Barbados Labour Party government from taking steps to control crime in Barbados?
Why is it so difficult to get a word out of the Attorney General on this matter? Why does he continue to smile inappropriately when this country is on edge?
Where are the initiatives that we were told were needed by Mr Dottin and the reasons for bringing a second deputy commissioner on board to boot?
When will we as a country have a conversation or a consultation on the causes of crime and this administration’s present initiatives to address them?
Barbados was promised solutions during the 2018 General Election. We’ve had none in 3 years.
Mr Attorney General, if it is that you have no clue what to do, step aside and admit you are out of your depth. Because this country is done watching. (PR/SAT)
