A section of Highway 1 in Holetown from the Rubis Service Station to the junction of Highway C and Highway 1, will be closed late on Friday.
The Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources said the road will be closed from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday.
The road closure is part of the ongoing Highway 1 Rehabilitation Project, and it will facilitate the paving of the stretch of the highway from the Rubis Service Station to the bridge north of the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre by contractor, Infra Inc.
Motorists heading east are advised to make the turn at Highway C heading towards Lancaster, while drivers heading north are asked to turn left between Massy Holetown and the Rubis Service Station and then continue on to Seaview towards the St. Thomas Roundabout.
