A Nation News team observed a massive police presence in an isolated St Michael area today. Initial reports suggest that investigators in the Newton Lewis murder case located a burnt out car at the end of a long, bushy track in the district.

Lewis, a 46-year-old acting Station Sergeant and the assigned driver to the Commissioner of Police, was killed on Saturday night when he responded to the robbery of a shop near his Rose Hill, St Peter home.

He was fatally shot and his service weapon taken by the three men who sped away in a car. (CA)
