Secretary of the Caribbean Against Apartheid, Lalu Hanuman is once again urging Government to recognise Palestine as a state and establish diplomatic relations.

He was speaking during a protest Saturday morning entitled Stop Funding Apartheid, outside the American Embassy in Wildey, St Michael.

Hanuman, an attorney-at-law, hand delivered a letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Dr Jerome Walcott on May 22, when they staged a protest outside the ministry’s Culloden Road, St Michael offices.

Hanuman said he in turn received a hand delivered letter acknowledging receipt of the one he delivered, but it spoke nothing of Government’s next move.  (RA)
