The Sons Of God Apostolic Church in Ealing Grove, Christ Church threw a special luncheon for the 73 hurricane victims currently living on the compound.

The victims are staying in an apartment complex offered by the church while they try to make alternative arrangements and pick up the pieces of their lives.

Yesterday, the church took their generosity a step further by offering a free buffet style luncheon which was attended by Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams as well as Member of Parliament for Christ Church South Ralph Thorne and Member of Parliament for Christ Church West Central Adrian Forde.

The Government officials, who took part in a pre-luncheon church service and the ceremonial candle lighting, heaped praises on the church for being their brother’s keeper. Abrahams said it showed their Christian principles. (CA)
