Police appeal for eyewitnesses

The Royal Barbados Police Force is appealing to the general public and motorists who may have been present or witnessed either of the recent two fatal traffic accidents.

The first occurred around 3:30 p.m. along the Adams section of the ABC Highway in Christ Church near the intersection of Newton and Bannantyne.

It involved a car and a truck.

The driver of the former, Mark Anthony Watson of Durants, Christ Church, died at the scene.

Two people perished in the second accident at the junction of Bank Hall Road and Bank Hall Cross Road, St Michael around 12:48 a.m. Sunday.

Lemar Blades, of 4th Avenue North Terrace, Meadow Road died at the scene, while Keith Alleyne, of 4H Meadow Road, Wildey succumbed to his injuries at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Both were 32 years old.

Police commenced unnatural death investigations into both of these matters.
