23 new COVID-19 cases

Twenty-three new COVID-19 cases, ten males and 13 females, were identified by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

On Monday, July 19, the facility conducted 1 144 tests.

There are currently 164 people in isolation.

Since March 2020, confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 4 292 (2 084 females and 2 208 males), and 48 people died from the virus.

The number of tests carried out by the lab is 203 301.

As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 98 281 people received first doses of the vaccines. Public health officials also administered 73 490 second doses. This figure represents 27.1 per cent of the population. (BGIS)
