Aussies win the toss, bat vs Windies – 1st ODI

West Indies will field, after Australia won the toss and chose to bat in the first One-day International on Tuesday at Kensington Oval.

Kieron Pollard returns to action after missing the preceding Twenty20 International series and Hayden Walsh Jr comes into the side for his first ODI since March 2020 in Sri Lanka.

Shai Hope is not in the line-up because an ankle injury, which he sustained yesterday during training.

The Australians will be led by Alex Carey, after regular ODI captain Aaron Finch was side-lined by a knee injury, and they have also three debutants in their line-up – Ben McDermott and Josh Philippe, who are slated to open together, and Wes Agar.
