As a result, gunman Pearson Antonio Bayne was ordered by the Court of Appeal to continue serving the five years, 320 days of a ten-year sentence he got for having an illegal gun and ammunition.
Bayne, of Nursery No. 2, Four Roads, St Philip, had pleaded guilty to having a .38-calibre Smith and Wesson revolver and six rounds of ammunition in his possession on February 25, 2020, and had been sentenced to ten years in prison for the offences.
However, after his time on remand and a one-third deduction for his guilty plea were taken into consideration, he was ordered to serve the remaining five years, 320 days. (HLE)
