Shooting accused Andre Omar Jackman yesterday denied he made any statement to police about blood soaking the earth.

“I say I don’t even speak like that,” he said he told the officer who interviewed him.

So he was very surprised, said Jackman, when he heard that oral statement and others read into evidence in this trial.

“I heard statements that I never, ever said,” he told the court.

Jackman, of Stroud Bay, St Lucy, was giving his defence when his trial continued in the No. 3 Supreme Court yesterday. (HLE)
