Rommel Griffith, who was featured in this newspaper two months, ago is seeking to raise money to assist with the much needed hip replacement surgery in Cuba.

The 35 year-old is having a drive-thru drop off in his Arch Hall, St Thomas community today.

He is urging members of the public to drive through the neighbourhood, just after the Arch Hall Fire Station and drop off their contributions to people who will be there to collect.

Griffith, who walks with the aid of crutches, suffers with a deteriorating arthritis in his bones and hips.

Since his story was published in this newspaper, an organisation stepped forward and assisted him with half of the US US$12 802 funding.

Interested persons can contact him at 2658397 or Cynthia Waithe 248-8649. (MB)
