A 21-year-old man is in stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot at Medford Land, Dayrells Road, Christ Church on Monday.
The man, whose name was not released by police, was walking behind a minimart in the community around 2:25 p.m. when “when a man known to him confronted him and discharged a number of gun shots in his direction”.
The victim attempted to run, but was shot in his right leg. He fell to the ground near his residence.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
