Five top officials at the Barbados Football Association (BFA) have called it quits.

Twelve months after being elected to serve on the executive board of the local governing body, junior vice president Omari Eastmond, junior assistant secretary Simeon Alsopp, treasurer Christian Renwick and two other senior members O’Brien Smith and Carlos Jackman have resigned from their positions.

When contacted, BFA president Randy Harris confirmed the news but opted not to provide further comments.

Last year, Alsopp beat Adrian Mapp 76-44 to be elected. Eastmond, a former Barbados and Weymouth Wales first-choice keeper, upset Ashton Chapman 68-64 and Renwick defeated Trevor Taylor 79-44. (AGB)
