Cricket West Indies (CWI) is highly likely to send not one, but two West Indies teams on tours of Pakistan before the end of this year, says chief executive officer Johnny Grave.

It is in keeping with the commitment from CWI to honour every playing obligation that was agreed prior to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic under the Future Tours Programme (FTP) of the sport’s world governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Grave said a reciprocal visit for the Windies Women was being planned for next month, ahead of their participation in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022 qualifier in November-December in Zimbabwe.

The Windies men’s white-ball unit are scheduled to visit Pakistan for a series of three One-day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals before Christmas. (AR)
