A woman is scheduled to appear in court today charged with cruelty to a child.
Shanice Reece is expected to appear at the District A Magistrates Court this afternoon in connection with a video which made the rounds on social media last week.
The video showed a woman who seemed to be choking a toddler. After it was drawn to the attention of police, they made a public appeal to identify the parties and there was an overwhelming response in the comments. (PR/SAT)
