Deaths related to COVID-19 at 151

The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths in Barbados has risen to 151.

A 63-year-old Barbadian man died just after arrival at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department on October 26.  His COVID-19 test result subsequently showed that he was positive.

A 55-year-old Barbadian man passed away on October 27, while in primary isolation at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.

Both men were unvaccinated.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the bereaved. (BGIS)
