Seven more die from COVID; deaths at 167

An additional seven COVID-19 related deaths, three men and four women, were recorded between over the last two days.

The deceased were all Barbadians.

Four of them died yesterday – two women, aged 62 and 91, who were isolated at the Harrison’s Point and Queen’s College Isolation Facilities – and two men, aged 72 and 81, who passed away while in isolation at the Blackman and Gollop and Queen’s College Isolation Facilities.  They were unvaccinated.

A 61-year-old fully vaccinated man, and two women, aged 33 and 53, who were both unvaccinated, died at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility today.

The number of people who succumbed to the virus is 167.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, extended condolences to their loved ones. (BGIS)
