Changes at Immigration Department; early closure on November 29

The Barbados Immigration Department will close at noon on Monday, November 29, to facilitate participation in the various Independence activities.

People with appointments originally scheduled during the period of closure may visit the department on Wednesday, December 1, according to a media release.

In addition, Chief Immigration Officer, Wayne Marshall announced that all Saturday passport application and collection services have been suspended until further notice.

Clients who were given a collection date for a Saturday may now visit the department, Monday to Friday, during the opening hours of 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Those who wish to apply for passports may visit the website www.immigration.gov.bb, and choose a date and time.
