Woman survives ‘arson attack’

She prayed to God she would not die as black plumes of smoke quickly filled her Rock Hall, St Lucy home, after an alleged arsonist threw gasoline through her window yesterday afternoon.

Fortunately for Shakiela Younge, she escaped. However, the alleged attacker was engulfed by flames, while neighbours ran to her rescue after hearing her screams.

Around 2 p.m., she was still struggling to come to terms with the incident which occurred at 12:45 p.m.  (TG)
