He may be guilty, but Rommel Orlando Jordan let it be known he had a problem with the amount of drugs he was supposed to have had.

“I think it is unfair that the police coulda charge me for more weed than I had,” he said yesterday.

Jordan, 42, of Endeavour No. 3, Orange Hill, St James, was back in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court where he had initially pleaded guilty to having cannabis on December 15, 2019.

He had maintained not-guilty pleas to having a traffickable quantity of the drug and having it with intent to supply on the same date.

Yesterday, he changed those pleas to guilty.

“On the amount that is why I plead not guilty. When the police was about to weigh the weed them weigh the bag and everything,” he explained. (HLE)
