With shouts of “no retreat, no surrender”, some disgruntled nurses have taken to The City streets in protest.

This is the second march by some nurses, led by general secretary of Unity Workers Union, Caswell Franklyn.

Since last year, the nurses have been on strike.

The protest today began at Cheapside, The City, and will end at Golden Square.

More to follow.
