Barbadian surfer Caleb Rapson continued to impress and represent the island with pride and industry at the 2022 Barbados Surf Pro QS 3000 yesterday at the Bathsheba Soup Bowl in St Joseph.

The 19-year-old continued his fearless surfing as he placed second in heat four of the quarter-finals of the Live Like Zander Junior Pro.

Rapson scored a commendable total of 11.84 to advance to the second heat of the semi-finals. He was economical in his wave selection, scoring a 4.67 on his first wave, followed by a 7.17 on his third and final attempt which proved enough to seal his progress to the next round.

Rapson displayed great stamina to return later in the senior men’s category of the Barbados Surf Pro and spectacularly win the second heat of the round of 32 with a mammoth 14.4 total. (NM)
