Locally-based athletes will have to wait a little longer to run on the new Mondo track at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

Work was expected to begin this week but there has been a further delay with the laying of a new Rolls Royce surface.

A high-level meeting regarding the track reportedly took place on Wednesday and attorneys are now set to sign-off on the necessary paperwork to facilitate the final agreement. (AG-B)
