Bail for Leroy Brathwaite

Leroy Fitzgerald Brathwaite was granted bail of $8 000 when he appeared in the Traffic Court on Monday in relation to charges on counterfeit items.

He was also ordered to report to Central Police Station every Monday before 10 a.m.

Brathwaite, 58, of Wanstead Heights, St James, was charged with one count each of unauthorised use of Nike, Jordan, Louis Vuitton and Puma trademarks and one count each of possession of goods bearing the same unauthorised trademarks

He returns to court on November 16.

Police seized goods from Brathwaite’s Swan Street store on September 7, 2021 and charges were formally laid on June 9. (Nation News)
