The body of an elderly woman was discovered at her home at Church Street, Speightstown, St Peter.
Police received a report that friends and family members were trying unsuccessfully to contact 86-year-old Gloria Eudora Leacock throughout Saturday morning.
Personnel from District E Station were summoned to her residence where the discovery was made about 10:10 a.m.
The body was identified by a close family member at the scene.
Police are carrying out investigations. (PR/SAT)
