The Geriatric Hospital, at Beckles Road, St Michael, is experiencing a small outbreak of COVID-19 and will therefore be restricting visits to Units Two and Four, as a precautionary measure.

These units include wards 6B, 7B, 8B and 10B, as well as the wards 2B, 3B, 4B and 5B.  Visitors will not be allowed on these wards until further notice.

The management of the Geriatric Hospital is confident that this outbreak can be adequately managed as has occurred in recent times.

Members of the public will be notified when visits will resume on these units.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its cooperation. (MHW/BGIS)
