Road works between the Hothersal Junction and Lears Roundabout in St Michael will lead to a minor route diversion of Transport Board buses.

The Transport Board and the Ministry of Transport, Works & Water Resources (MTWW) advised commuters who travel on the Bathsheba, Clifton Hall, Flat Rock, Horse Hill and Martin’s Bay buses, which start and end at the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal, to take note of the route diversion expected to last at least three weeks.

Buses travelling from Bridgetown will divert along Jackman’s road, turn right onto Lears Road, and then travel to the Lears Roundabout, where all of the buses except for the Flat Rock bus will turn left and rejoin their usual routes.

The Flat Rock bus will travel straight through the roundabout in front of Armstrong Agencies and turn left onto Lower Estate road to rejoin its usual route.

Buses travelling to Bridgetown will travel in the reverse direction.

Commuters are encouraged to pay attention to media advisories, and monitor the social media pages of MTW Barbados and the Transport Board for details.
