Fatal shooting in Christ Church

Barbados has recorded yet another fatal shooting.

A 33-year-old man was shot and killed in Christ Church late Wednesday night, while his female companion also sustained a gunshot injury.

Police were unable to confirm the exact location, but say the couple was returning to an apartment when they were attacked by a  group of men.

The man exited the vehicle and was shot dead on the scene. The woman ran, but was pursued and shot.

There were three shooting incidents, two fatal, within a five-hour stretch on Wednesday.
