Met Service discontinues flash flood warning

Weather forecasters discontinued the flash flood warning for the island effective 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to a weather bulletin from the Barbados Meteorological Service, rainfall accumulations of up to one inch were recorded across parts of St Peter and St Philip during the morning.

The bulletin added that light to moderate showers were still possible across northwestern districts during the afternoon, although weather conditions have improved.
