The body of the man who was found dead at Welches, Christ Church has been identified as Devitus Roosevelt Sylvester Junior Chase, 28, of Cane Vale New Road, Christ Church.
Police said Chase was found with what appeared to be “chop” wounds about the body.
The report of the discovery was made to the police operations control room about 3:20 p.m.
