St Philip pharmacist Roger Arnott McNeil Maynard was remanded to Dodds Prison after facing four charges relating to a $2.325 million drug find in the Bridgetown Port.

However, his attorneys have indicated they will be making an urgent application for bail before the High Court.

Maynard, 60, of Golden Palm Drive, Fortescue, appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was not required to plead to possession of 290.65 kilogrammes of cannabis; having a traffickable quantity of the drug; possession with intent to supply, and importation of the drug on November 25.

He was represented by Senior Counsel Michael Lashley and attorneys Keith Miller, Sade Harris, Simon Clarke and Marlon Gordon. (HLE)
