Locals and visitors are out in their numbers along the popular St Lawrence Gap stretch in Christ Church.

From Cafe Sol at the entrance of the Gap, Primo, Cocktail Kitchen, Crave Restaurant, The Cove Nightclub, McNaughty’s Pub & Grub, Tabu Restaurant, and Halo Ultra Lounge where Jamaican singer Romaine Virgo is scheduled to perform, there were people having dinner or just enjoying the vibe.

The rest of the Gap was abuzz with activity and crowds of people who came out to say farewell to 2022 and ring in 2023.

However, the popular Hal’s Bar remained closed following the passing of owner Hal Bushelle.

The only other establishment void of activity is the St Lawrence Anglican Church.

Meanwhile, the controversial parking issue through the Gap appears to have been sorted out, as vehicles lined some parts of the pavement, while others found every available space to park.
