Search for missing St George woman

Members of the Barbados Defence Force (BDF) and the Barbados Police Service are out in their numbers in Workmans, St George looking for missing 82-year-old Elmonda Theodore Husbands.

The woman, who lives in Middleton, also in St George, was last seen leaving home on January 2.

Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of Operations in the Southern Division, Carollyn Blackman-Alleyne told the media earlier that the search has extended from Middleton to Workmans, Jericho, Jordans and beyond, and with the help of BDF personnel, included Cottage, Rock Hall, Fairview and Briar Village.

Currently, members of the armed forces are on the ground in Workmans conducting further searches, but are preparing to move to another location. (RA)
