Elwood Watts is newest judge to be sworn in

Former magistrate Elwood Watt has been appointed Barbados’ newest High Court Judge.

Watts, who was also a police officer, took the Oath of Office and Allegiance before President of Barbados, Her Excellency The Most Honourable Dame Sandra Mason, on February 1, at State House.

His appointment will be for three years.

The swearing-in was witnessed by Chief Justice Sir Patterson Cheltenham. (PR)
