Murder accused Shawn Leo Phillips on Friday detailed how he ended up in police custody before he denied knowing, seeing or killing Melissa Amanda Davis.

In addition, he accounted for having a phone in his possession by saying that not only did he buy and sell vehicles, but he also bought and sold phones.

“I could not tell them about no murder ‘cause I didn’t murder anyone,” Phillips said.

“I had no contact with this person. I could not tell what this person looked like. I did not kill the deceased because I did not know the deceased. I was never in contact with the deceased at no time and that is my innocence.” (HLE)
