Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious package that was found in a bathroom at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre at Two Mile Hill, St Michael.

A command centre has been set up in the vicinity of the Imart building, some distance away. Police have diverted all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from the JTC Ramsay (Bussa) roundabout and the Howell’s Road junction with Two Mile Hill Road.

This diversion will cause considerable disruption to traffic, and police are asking motorists and road users alike to be compliant. Avoid the area if possible and comply with the directions of officers on the ground.

This is a developing story. More details as they come. (PRSAT)
