Murderer Patrick Nathaniel Leacock stabbed his estranged girlfriend 24 times while their daughter sat nearby at a table eating her breakfast.

And when the woman’s son tried to intervene, Leacock stabbed at him as well.

And it was all because the woman had taken out a protection order against him.

These were some of the facts which were read to the No. 5 Supreme Court yesterday.

This is the second time Leacock has killed a woman, having been sentenced, in 2010, to five years in jail for the manslaughter of another girlfriend in 2004.

Leacock, 46, who is also known as “Pockets”, of Carmichael Tenantry, St George, had pleaded guilty, earlier this week to the non-capital offence of murdering 39-year-old Zanaba Moore, formerly of Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church, on April 23, 2019. (HLE)
