This Pinelands team is proving to be pretty much invincible in 2023.

The Pine lads knocked off NSC Combined Schools Tridents 123-76 in the Co-operators General Insurance BABA Premier League on Thursday night at the Barbados Community College gym.

Still high off of their President’s Cup finals victory last Sunday, the champions kept true to form with three of their starting five scoring 20 points or more.

Captain and President’s Cup final hero Deroni Hurley came back into action with a triple-double, putting up 20 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

He was once again prolific from three, hitting four buckets from long range. Rasheed Maynard decided he wanted triple-double stats as well with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists, ensuring it was a very long night for the Tridents.   (DG)
