Spooners Hill Firebirds outblazed Northern Stars 51-21 to move to a 4/0 record and keep on track to return to Division One netball when the lower division action continued on Wednesday night at the Netball Stadium.

Barbados shooter Stefanie Patrick led the assault with 21 goals from 29 attempts as Firebirds totally dominated every quarter 14-3, 26-13 and 36-18 in their Division 2 encounter.

Patrick received great support from Kerry-Ann Brathwaite, who came off the bench and scored 17/23 while starting goal attack Emisha Barrow sank 13/18.

While Firebirds found an open passage to the goal post and scoreboard, the tough Tricia Gill along with Kathleen Brathwaite established and maintained serious blockade against the Stars’ shooters. (KB)
