Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old girl.

Ranika Zakyla Husbands of Block 13F Haynes Village, St James, is a second form student at The Ellerslie School.

She was last seen by her mother on April 13 when she was given permission to spend time with her friends in the Haynesville area. She also frequents Mills Apartments, Culvert Terrace, Ifill Road and the surrounding areas.

Ranika is 5 feet 5 inches tall and slimly built, with a light brown complexion. She has a long face with brown eyes, a protruding forehead, a small nose and small ears, which are pierced once in the lobe.

She walks with an erect appearance and is in the habit of dragging her feet. She is of a Barbadian descent and speaks fluently; if approached she has a pleasant demeanour. At the time, she was wearing long blue jeans pants, a ‘T-shirt’ of colour unknown, and a pair of slippers.

Anyone who may have knowledge of the whereabouts of Ranika Zakyla Husbands is asked to contact the Holetown Police Station at 419 1700 or any police station or police emergency 211. (PR/SAT)
